The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick extends the care that Jesus showed for the bodily and spiritual welfare of the sick. It may be celebrated at any point in the life of an individual who seeks strength in time of illness, surgery or approaching death.
To make an appointment for anointing, please contact the parish office at 650-593-6757.

If in the hospital, request the Catholic Chaplain or a priest from the Parish in which the hospital is located, through the nursing station.
By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them and indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.
