My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Sincerely, I thank you for doing your bit to reach the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal goal at IHM for 2024 in the amount of $63,080.00. In addition, once again we went over the goal in the amount of $5,546,00 which will be used to help fund parish improvements. This is what happens when the people of our parish join together for good. Well done! We do have what it takes to make a difference.
Of course, you have probably guessed that we are now beginning the AAA for 2025. Again, I am counting on your generosity for this important fundraiser that affects the entire Archdiocese and our parish as well. I am placing this effort under the special intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This year the AAA goal for us comes to $70,305.00. We can reach this goal and exceed it if everyone steps up to the plate, as it were.
To stay fiscally sound it is to our best advantage to reach goal and even go over it. Otherwise, the assessment will have to come out of our Offertory collections, which are best used elsewhere. This would set us back not move us forward. With your generosity I am confident that the money can be raised. This year I am personally donating $1,000.00. That is little over 1% of the goal, which would be $700.00. Would you consider doing at least the same or even more if possible? We could have a $1,000.00 club. That would be great. Nevertheless, all donations of any amount are sincerely appreciated. Pledges may be spread throughout the year month by month to make it easier to give a larger amount.
For more information, please consult our website at ihmbelmont.org or the information enclosed, which contains a brochure detailing how the money is used. These are also available in the church. I hope you will take time to watch the video that shows the archdiocese standing tall in our current trying times.
On behalf of all those who benefit from your kindness, I express my sincere and heartfelt thanks. Whether you are able to donate or not, make sure that you join our prayer army. God bless you! Mary love you!
Yours in the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Rev. Mark G. Mazza, Pastor
